C) Other Oregon Farms & Organizations
These folks produce an annual Lane County Food Directory and work to promote food produced locally.
A cooperative of farms in the tri-county area around Portland. With products from apples to zucchini, including fuit, vegetables, herbs, flowers, nusery plants, Christmas trees, meat, and eggs.
D) Places to Visit
This historic woolen mill is a great place to visit to see mill machinery, water power generation equipment, and historic buildings. Located in Salem, they also have a museum store, cafe, and often have special weaving and spinning events.
E) Fiber Shows in and nearby Oregon
Run in conjunction with the Black Sheep Gathering in June at the Lane County Fairgrounds by the Emerald Valley Alpaca Association. Lots of beautiful alpacas, alpaca fiber, and other products for sale and show.
This show happens annually late in June at the Lane County Fairgrounds in Eugene. Sheep, goats, and angora rabbit shows, wool show, fiber arts show, and trade show with equipment, books, processed fiber for spinning and yarn for knitting, and much more.

An annual show happening late each September at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds in Canby. Sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, and more exotic fiber animals, plus a wool show, fiber arts, lamb and goat cook-off, and lots of trade booths.

EWES is a site for spinners in the Eugene Wednesday Evening Spinners (EWES) and Lorane Area Group (LAG) that offers their spinning schedules and communication within the groups.
