In the heart of Central Oregon, down in the Prinvelle valley is a small sheep farm with big goals. Now only two breeds, as I've sold the dorper flock, in at least two color schemes each are maintained for our health and sanity. Selected for correct conformation, easy going dispositions, and high quality fleeces, we are pleased with our dual purpose breeds of sheep. Raising the best fleeces and lambs from Natural Colored Romeldales, CVMs, incredibly fine white Romeldales, and Border Leicesters in both white and shades of grey, (daughter Brin's chosen breed of sheep under flock name Farmer Girl's Friends). Annually shown at Black Sheep Gathering, Oregon Flock and Fiber, as well as local county shows and the Oregon State Fair. Fleeces are usually covered, show and spin well, and sold out every year. Breeding stock is registered with appropriate breed associations (NCWGA, ARCA, ABLA, ). Grass finished natural lamb is sold on order, pelts are also available accasionally. The CVM pelts are spectacular with the varrigated markings on each. Border Leicester pelts are generally in good lenth, 3-5 inches staple length for the ultimate luxury sheepskin.
