Come to historic Yoder (9 miles south of Canby) to see our beautiful & productive Border Leicester, Coopworth, Gotland cross sheep! We sell breeding stock, many wool products, Wool Wax Skin Creme, USDA lamb & so much more! Our flock of about 35 ewes is closed, and we do artificial insemination with imported semen for the Border Leicester & Coopworth breeds from some of New Zealand's finest flocks. Our Gotland semen comes from the UK. We have registered & commercial, white & natl colored breeding stock. Our entire flock is OPP test-negative since 1998, and we are Certified Scrapie Free on the Federal VSFCP program (#OR-79). In 2008, our flock entered the Certified Complete Monitored & Export Monitored Flock Program. (This allows us to send male & female breeding sheep into Canada.) Contact us for top quality breeding stock, beautiful spinning fleeces, rovings, yarns, quilt/comforter/felting batts, tanned sheepskins, felted insoles for boots/shoes, pet/chair pads, gorgeous Hudson Bay-style blankets in 5 sizes, & wool garden mulch. We can e-mail you a cut/price sheet showing over 15 different cuts available! We ship all over the continental US. In addition to meat and wool products, we also have smoked lamb bones for your favorite pooch! Besides selling off our farm and by mail order, you can also find us at several Portland area farmer's markets from March through December. We also do consulting on pasture & flock management, give workshops, host tours, & you'll find us at 4-5 fairs & sheep shows/year. We seasonally raise pastured meat chickens & turkeys and usually have chicken & duck eggs. We welcome visitors!!
You can find us every weekend from mid-March until the Saturday before Christmas at the Portland Farmer's Market at PSU, 8:30-2. This market began on Saturday, March 20th. We are there in spades with all of our products. Beginning on Sunday, May 9th (Mother's Day), we will also be at the Milwaukie Farmer's Market from 9:30-2. Come on by!
